Richard Fine

Chief Commercial Officer at Zocdoc

Richard Fine is Chief Commercial Officer at Zocdoc, leading the company’s efforts across sales, marketing, business development and commercial strategy.

Richard is a two-time entrepreneur with two exits under his belt. He was an early employee and partner at the brand innovation agency Redscout. There, Richard’s work centered on the belief that the best way to change a consumer’s perception of a brand is to change the way they experience it. He led product- and brand-focused work for the likes of PepsiCo, Nike, Diageo and Johnson & Johnson, among others. Redscout grew to be an industry leader and was acquired by MDC Partners

Richard also founded Help Remedies, a consumer healthcare company that makes over-the-counter medicine simpler and friendlier. Under Richard’s leadership, Help rapidly expanded nationally to retailers including Duane Reade, Walgreens, Target and W Hotels, leading to its acquisition. The company won an IDEA award for packaging, a Cannes Lion for advertising and a best of show from Dieline and was selected as one of Wallpaper Magazine’s Life Enhancers of the Year.

Both professors of medicine, Richard’s parents are delighted to see him return to the healthcare space. Richard graduated with First Class Honors from Oxford University with a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
