Peter Balogh

Peter Balogh is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the Note Taking product team at Zocks, focusing on crucial platform functionality since September 2025. Prior to this role, Peter served as an Engineering Lead at Wise from September 2018 to September 2025, where leadership included the Payment Fraud Prevention team, significantly reducing fraud rates in P2P transactions, and an internal tooling platform team enhancing operational efficiency through automation. Earlier experience includes positions as a JavaScript Developer at Supercharge Ltd and Tresorit, as well as a Junior Web Developer at Danubius Informatika. Peter holds an MBA in Finance from Eötvös Loránd University and dual degrees (MSc and BSc) in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
