Laura Simon is a Senior Scientist at Zoetis since April 2021, bringing extensive research experience in molecular and systems biology. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Université de Montréal from January 2015 to August 2020, where the focus was on the genetic characterization of RUNX1-mutated Acute Myeloid Leukemia and the application of small molecules for targeted therapy. Laura completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology, Systems Biology at Université de Montréal during that time. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant and Masters Student at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from March 2011 to December 2014, concentrating on the role of injured liver-derived microvesicles in bone marrow cell differentiation, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine earned at the same institution.
