Nabil Karnib

Nabil Karnib is currently a Senior Scientist at Zoetis since January 2023. Prior to this role, Nabil served as a Doctoral Researcher at Bowling Green State University, focusing on Drosophila melanogaster to investigate opioid use disorder and its behavioral responses to morphine. Nabil also held positions as a Laboratory Instructor in molecular and cellular biology and physiology. Previous research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the American University of Beirut, studying post-traumatic seizures in adolescent rats, and as a Graduate Researcher at Lebanese American University, where key neuronal pathways related to physical exercise were identified. Nabil received a PhD in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Neuroscience from Bowling Green State University and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Lebanese American University.
