Thomas Geurden is currently the Head of Parasitology Research at Zoetis. With a PhD in Veterinary Sciences specializing in Parasitology from Ghent University, they have extensive experience in both academic and industry research. Previously, Thomas served as a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University, where they researched the pathogenesis of Giardia in calves and contributed to projects on immunity and waterborne transmission of parasites. Their leadership experience includes roles as Director and Senior Director of Clinical Development at Zoetis from 2017 to 2022.
