Christopher Morton has a diverse background in sports officiating, coaching, and broadcasting. Currently serving as an umpire for JFK Softball since July 2022 and ZogSports since July 2016, Christopher has honed skills in officiating modified pitch softball and basketball games. Prior experiences include coaching travel basketball while managing school programs at Simply Sports and a significant role at CBS Sports, where Christopher was a highlight writer and game logger from September 2014 to March 2020. Additionally, Christopher worked as a time operating coordinator at ESPN and contributed as a sports writer at Pulsepoint, INC. with a focus on professional and college sports. An Emmy-nominated associate producer for SNY, Christopher has also held various production roles at Sirius XM and CSTV. Educational credentials include attendance at Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting and Hofstra University, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Kingsborough Community College.
