Tom Philipps

Tom Philipps has extensive experience in education and operations management. Currently, Tom works in operations at Zoho Corporation, focusing on Texas operations and Nava Farms since 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a 5th grade ELA teacher at The Equity Project Charter School from 2015 to 2017, recognized by The New York Times for its innovative educational approach. Tom was a founding 3rd and 4th grade teacher at KIPP Academy Elementary School from 2012 to 2015, and prior to that, worked as a 5th grade teacher with Teach for America at Aspire Huntington Park Charter School from 2010 to 2012. Tom also held the role of Director of Development at Incarnation School through The Partnership for Inner-City Education from 2009 to 2010 and worked as an Industry Coordinator for the Tribeca Film Festival NYC, LLC from 2008 to 2009. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, Philosophy, and English from Georgetown University.
