Surajit Dan has extensive experience in the logistics and automotive sectors, currently serving as Area Lead at Zomato since September 2021, where responsibilities include developing regional strategies and ensuring operational excellence. Previously, Surajit held the position of Fleet Operations Manager at Zomato, managing a team of up to 1,200 pickup and delivery partners. Prior to Zomato, Surajit worked as Workshop Incharge at RIVIGO, focusing on fleet and tire management, and has held roles at VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. as a Service Engineer and Tata Motors as a Trainee. Educated in Mechanical Engineering with a Bachelor of Technology from the NIBM Institute, Surajit also holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and additional qualifications in automotive engineering.
