Barry Sears

Barry Sears began their career in 1992 as President of Surfactant Technologies, Inc. Barry then founded ZoneLabs, Inc. in 1999, where they served as President & Founder. In 2006, they became President of MedWell Foods, Inc. and in 2014, they became President of Eico Labs, Inc. Dr. Sears is a leading authority on the dietary control of hormonal response and their various books on the Zone Diet have sold more than 5 million copies and been translated into 22 different languages.

Barry Sears received their A.B. in Chemistry from Occidental College between 1964 and 1968. Barry then went on to Indiana University where they obtained their Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry between 1968 and 1971.
