André Larin has worked in the television industry for over 45 years. He began his career in 1961 at Radio-Canada, where he was in turn administrator in the International Relations Department, in Public Affairs and then in the Information Department. In 1979, he joined the “other public television”, Radio-Québec, where he became assistant to the vice-president for programming, then director of finance and administration. Returning to Radio-Canada in 1988, he directed all programming operations for the French network as well as budget and resource management, before moving to Cogéco Radio-Télévision to occupy the position of Vice-President, Development. and programming. In January 1994, he made the leap into the field of independent production by becoming Chairman and CEO of Coscient, which will subsequently be integrated into Motion International. In May 2000, ZONE3 was created by Michel Bissonnette, Vincent Leduc, Paul Dupont-Hébert and André Larin, who held the position of president. In January 2009, André left the presidency of the company, but remained chairman of the board of directors, until spring 2018.
