Robert Plate

Robert Plate serves as the Vice President of Workplace Deployment Services at Zones, LLC since February 2023. Prior to this role, Robert spent over two decades at Black Box, where notable positions included Vice President of Global Deployment Services, Vice President & General Manager of Enterprise Accounts, Director of Field Service Operations, Area Branch Manager, Senior Operations Manager, and Manager of PMO. Robert's leadership and strategic execution were pivotal in managing extensive projects for over 2,400 enterprise accounts, achieving significant revenue milestones exceeding $300 million, and maintaining oversight of large teams and P&L responsibilities across North America. Earlier career experiences include an Engineering Manager role at Iowa Telecom and operations management at Norstan, with a career foundation in technical deployment and project management. Education was pursued at Des Moines Area Community College.
