Mirte Brom

Mirte Brom currently serves as Hoofd Cluster Doelmatigheidsonderzoek and Senior Programmamanager Zorgevaluatie & Gepast Gebruik / Veelbelovende Zorg at ZonMw since May 2020. Prior to this role, Mirte held positions as Project Leader Implementation and Program Coordinator Implementation at KWF Kankerbestrijding from September 2016 to May 2020. Mirte's research experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate at Leiden University Medical Center from February 2011 to June 2016, focusing on incentive motivation, dopaminergic pathways, and cognitive regulation. Additional academic pursuits included a visiting position at McGill University and involvement as a board member for the PhD organization of Leiden University. Mirte holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School, a Ph.D. from Leiden University, an MBA in Public/Private Management from Nyenrode Business University, and a Master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Amsterdam.
