Greg Sweeney

Greg Sweeney is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as the Lead AI/ML Software Engineer at Zoo since March 2023, Greg previously held a similar position at Pieces.app, where contributions included developing MLOps processes and cloud-based data engineering pipelines. At Kinetic Vision, Greg founded and led the Machine Learning + Training Data group, delivering advanced machine learning models to B2B clients. Earlier roles at Naval Air Systems Command focused on developing deep learning vision models and leading software engineering teams, while earlier career experiences included roles at AMEWAS, Inc. and Amelex, Inc. Greg holds a Master of Engineering in Modeling, Virtual Environments and Simulation from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
