Nicholas Boone

Nicholas Boone is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Zoo, with a diverse background in thermal systems engineering and mechanical design. They previously worked at Lightship, where they defined functional requirements and created engineering specifications for thermal management systems. Before that, Nicholas contributed to Proterra Inc as an Associate Engineer, managing multiple vehicle configurations and ensuring safety compliance. They also gained hands-on experience at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, assisting in actuator testing for the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover. Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in BioDigital Architecture from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
