Patrick Cozzi

Patrick Cozzi is the Chief Platform Officer at Bentley Systems and serves as an Advisory Council Member for the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue, both starting in September 2024. As the Founder and CEO of Cesium since June 2019, Cozzi focuses on developing core technology for 3D geospatial applications. Additionally, Cozzi co-founded CreateAccess in March 2023, aiming to enhance socioeconomic mobility through education in 3D creation. Other roles include co-hosting the Building The Open Metaverse podcast and holding board positions at the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and the Metaverse Standards Forum, where Cozzi co-chairs efforts on 3D asset interoperability. Cozzi is a contributor at The Khronos Group, co-creating the glTF standard for 3D assets. Educational credentials include an MSE from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Computer Science from Penn State University.
