Alex (Qiyong) Liu is currently the Head of Audio Engineering at Zoom Video Communications, a position held since 2011. Previously, they served as a Manager of Software Development at Cisco WebEx from 2007 to 2011 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Onewave Inc in 2006-2007. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Tencent from 2004 to 2005. Alex earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Master’s degree in Signal and Information Processing from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
