Dan Sackett

Dan Sackett is the Director of Engineering at Zoomforth, a position they have held for the past 5 years and 10 months. At CodeZeus, Dan worked with technologies including Linux (Ubuntu), Git, GulpJS, Bower, NodeJS, Python, Django, Fabric, Redis, Celery, Gunicorn, Nginx, MySQL, Bootstrap 3, jQuery, and AngularJS.

Before CodeZeus, Dan worked at Eonian Technology Inc for 2 years and 10 months as a Senior Software Engineer and Full Stack Developer. In this role Dan was responsible for developing an innovative high-end email marketing system as well as managing a team of 5 developers. Their duties included working directly with the CEO and CTO on new features including writing specs and handing them out to the developers, reading and reviewing all new code entering the application through a Pull Request System, and helping developers work faster by answering questions and pointing them in the right direction. The technology Dan worked with at Eonian Technology included Linux (Ubuntu), Git, Vagrant, GulpJS, Bower NodeJS, PHP 5.5, PHP-FPM, Composer, CodeIgniter, Redis, PHP-Resque, MySQL, Bootstrap 3, jQuery, and AngularJS.

Dan Sackett has a Bachelor of Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in Information Sciences and Technology from 2008-2012. Dan was involved in the Ultimate Frisbee club team and THON. Their curriculum highlights include proficient JAVA programming, Network and Database management, Organization Structure, and Human Computer Interaction. Dan also has a degree from North Penn in Engineering from 2004-2008. Dan was involved in the Project Lead the Way Program in the Engineering Academy.
