David Simpson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in design systems and product design. Currently serving as a Design System Lead at Houseful since November 2020, David manages and maintains design systems for the Zoopla, Prime Location, Hometrack and Alto brands. Prior to this role, David was a Principal Product Designer at Auto Trader UK from January 2005 to November 2020, where responsibilities included the creation and maintenance of design systems as well as designing new product landing pages. David's earlier career included roles as an Image Manipulation Technician at 2ndByte, an Image Library Assistant at WWF, and a Partner at Jellytree Video Arts, showcasing a diverse skill set in image production and management. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Art & Design with a focus on time-based media and photography from the University of Wolverhampton and a National Diploma in Fine Art from Reigate School of Art.
