David Brophy

David Brophy is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in corporate finance and start-up mentorship. Currently serving as Chairman of Zoosh Group since 2014, David focuses on investing in high-tech and cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses. As the Chief Executive and Founder of DMJB Corporate Consulting since 2011, David provides corporate finance and general consulting services. David's leadership experience includes roles as Chairman of the Board of Governors at Sutton Park School and Group Chief Executive of Ballymore Group, where oversight of strategy and operations spanned the company's significant property development activities. Prior to these roles, David held senior positions at Smurfit Kappa, including Group Director of Corporate Finance and Tax, as well as Chief Executive of Smurfit Capital, where David established the group's treasury operations. A member of various committees, including Ireland's National Steering Committee for The 2006 Ryder Cup, David has a solid educational background with a degree from Trinity College Dublin.
