Leandro Silva

Leandro Silva has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Leandro started their career in 1999 as the Diretor Técnico at Web Connection, where they worked for over 12 years until July 2011. In 2013, they joined Olympus Sistemas as a Diretor, holding the position until January 2014. Leandro has been associated with Zoox Smart Data since 2013, initially serving as a DevOps Engineer and subsequently taking on the role of Senior Software Engineer. In January 2022, they were promoted to the position of Chief Information Security Officer at the company, a role they continue to hold.

Leandro Silva began their education in 1987 at Colégio Pentágono, where they completed their studies in an unspecified field. Leandro then went on to attend Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 1994 to 1997, majoring in Physics. In 1997, Leandro enrolled at the same university again, this time pursuing a degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2001. Later on, from 2007 to 2010, they attended Estácio, specializing in Information Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Leandro obtained two certifications. In June 2015, they became a Zend Certified PHP Engineer by Zend Technologies. Later that year, in December, they also earned the Zend Framework 2 Certified Architect certification, also from Zend Technologies.
