Brett Bennett has extensive experience in engineering and safety within the aviation and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Systems and Safety Engineer at Zoox since May 2025, Brett previously worked at Cruise as a Safety and Systems Investigator from October 2023 to April 2025. Prior to that, Brett held multiple roles at Boeing, including Airplane Safety Engineer, Design Engineer in Phantom Works and 787 Flight Controls, and various managerial positions in Fleet Services and Customer Support Engineering. Brett earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business.
