Chris Jackson is an experienced manufacturing PLM administrator and mechanical design engineer with a robust background in engineering and design across multiple sectors. Currently serving at Zoox since February 2016, Chris has progressed from mechanical design engineer to senior mechanical design engineer. Prior to Zoox, valuable experience was gained at Direct Energy Solar as a solar system designer and at the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center as a staff engineer, focusing on hybrid electric vehicle safety systems. Chris also contributed to Tufts Hybrid Racing as project leader, overseeing the redesign of a hybrid race car. Early career experiences include internships at Lit Motors and Parsons Brinckerhoff, where engineering skills were applied to innovative vehicle design and fire safety analysis. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in 2013.
