Colm Gavin is a software architect with 30 years of experience in technical leadership, software development life-cycles, and systems engineering, having applied over 20 years of expertise in C++ and object-oriented development. They began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Factron Schlumberger and held several prominent roles, including Chief Software Engineer at Cohu, Inc., and Staff Software Engineer at Meta and Google. Currently, Colm serves as a Staff Software Engineer at Zoox. They are pursuing a B.Sc in Computer Applications from Dublin City University and a Career Certificate in Japanese Language from Foothill College.
