Gene Merewether

Gene Merewether is a Senior Software Engineer at Zoox since September 2022, previously holding the position of Staff Software Engineer at Boston Dynamics from September 2019 to August 2022, and serving as a Robotics Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from February 2016 to September 2019, where involvement included the Mars Helicopter flight software team. Notable contributions include implementing advanced trajectory generation techniques for autonomous flight and leading the development of a breathing assistance device prototype during the Luce Scholar program at the Henry Luce Foundation. Early research experience includes an internship at The University of Edinburgh focused on chemical potential measurement tools and a technical internship at DeepSea Power & Light.
