Jack Riley is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of autonomous vehicle technology and spacecraft mission design. Currently serving as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer at Zoox since June 2019, Jack focuses on developing sophisticated path planning and trajectory optimization algorithms for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this role, Jack worked at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from May 2015 to June 2019, undertaking roles such as Spacecraft Mission Design Engineer and Aerospace Engineer, where responsibilities included spacecraft mission design and advanced astrodynamic modeling. Jack's earlier experience includes internship roles and research assistance at various organizations, including the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Space Systems Loral.
