Luke Murchison

Luke Murchison is an Aerospace Systems Engineer in the Systems Engineering Division at Ames, specializing in active Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to enhance product design, validation, and verification through model development. Currently pursuing the optimization of engineering processes at Zoox as a Senior Software Engineer, Luke previously led significant projects at NASA, including the SAGE IV instrument and the On-Orbit Autonomous Assembly from Nanosatellites Project. With a strong foundation in designing and testing aerospace structures, Luke has contributed to various projects involving NASA's Launch Abort System and advanced optical systems. They hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and have been recognized for their innovative approaches to streamline engineering workflows.
