Michael Lemperle

Michael Lemperle is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and assembly. Currently serving as Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering and General Assembly at Zoox since 2025, Michael previously held the roles of Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Senior Manager at the same company from 2018 to 2024. Prior to Zoox, Michael was Head of Manufacturing Launch at Faraday Future between 2016 and 2017. Michael's career includes significant contributions at Porsche Consulting from 2008 to 2016, where positions ranged from Senior Manager to Junior Consultant. Earlier, Michael worked as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Bosch USA in 2007. Academically, Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University, and further studies at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.
