Nicholas Roy

Principal Software Engineer at Zoox

Nicholas Roy is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Zoox since June 2022. Nicholas holds the title of Bisplinghoff Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT where Nicholas has been since October 2003. Prior to this, Nicholas served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at MIT. From July 2018 to June 2022, Nicholas was the Director of Systems Engineering at MIT Quest for Intelligence. In addition, Nicholas was the Founder of Project Wing at Google [x] from July 2012 to August 2014. Nicholas Roy completed their B.Sc. in Physics at McGill University in 1997 and continued their education at Carnegie Mellon University from 1997 to 2003.
