Simon Sorensen

Simon Sorensen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in training and support roles in the tech and engineering industries. Currently serving as the Rider Support Training Supervisor at Zoox since December 2019, Simon develops training programs for Rider Operations Support Representatives and provides instruction on essential communication techniques. Previous experience includes roles as a Vehicle and Software Operator (Instructor) at Zoox, where Simon was responsible for operational support and training new hires. Prior to Zoox, Simon gained valuable experience at San Jose State University, serving as a Senior Resident Advisor and Teaching Assistant, where responsibilities included staff training and student support. Simon's career began at Six Flags as an Admissions Lead, focusing on training and conflict resolution. Simon holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from San José State University.
