Sonny Park

Sonny Park is a highly experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Zoox since 2023. Previously, Sonny held the position of Software Engineer focused on Machine Learning and AI at Facebook from 2021 to 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where responsibilities involved the Azure Machine Learning Pipeline within the AI Platform from 2018 to 2021, and serving as Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2013 to 2018, where core technologies for a multi-asset trading system were designed and implemented. Sonny began the career at Bloomberg from 2008 to 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer for the Ticker Plant, specializing in low-latency and real-time market data processing. Sonny holds an MBA in Management of Technology and Quantitative Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, a Master of Science in Network and Algorithms, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Stony Brook University.
