Adam Backholer

Adam Backholer is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Head of Model and Data Quality Risk at Zopa Bank since January 2023. Previously, Adam held the position of Senior Manager Model Risk and progressed from Analyst to Senior Risk Manager in Retail Decision Science & Advanced Analytics at Nationwide Building Society from July 2010 to December 2022. Adam began a career in the financial sector as a Mortgage Advisor at London & Country Mortgages from August 2007 to July 2010. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath, where studies were completed from 2003 to 2007.
