Tom Nickels

Tom Nickels is an experienced financial crime and compliance professional with a diverse background in the field. They began their career at KPMG UK in forensic consultancy from 2010 to 2015, before progressing to multiple roles in financial crime compliance at Barclays from 2015 to 2022. Currently, Tom serves as the Head of Financial Crime at Zopa Bank, where they focus on first line of defense activities. Tom holds a degree in Modern Languages from Durham University and an ACA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
