Dan Oved has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Dan is currently working as a Senior Protocol Engineer at ZORA. Prior to that, in 2022, they participated in multiple hackathons as a Hackathon Competitor, prototyping open-source web3 metaverse products and winning prizes. In 2020, Dan co-founded and served as the CTO of Arium, a browser-based real-time collaborative platform for NFT creators and collectors. Dan also worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at The New York Times, where they developed computer vision techniques for extrapolating 3D pose of athletes at live sporting events. Before that, Dan was a Resident Researcher at New York University and a Machine Learning Engineer at Google. Dan led projects such as building browser-based machine learning models for real-time human pose estimation and body-part segmentation. Dan also had experience as a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Equinox, where they worked on The Pursuit by Equinox, a gamified spin class experience. Prior to that, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at various companies, focusing on building browser-based interactive applications.

Dan Oved completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tulane University from 2002 to 2006. Later, in 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Non-Degree program in Computer Vision & Graphics at New York University. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they attended New York University again for the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) without receiving a specified degree.
