Jay Patel

Jay Patel is currently the Sr. Director of Category Management at Zoro US, a position held since August 2019, where responsibilities include leading the Core MRO Category Management team across various categories and successfully growing the assortment to over 12 million SKUs. Prior to Zoro, Jay served at Groupon from February 2012 to August 2019 in multiple roles, including Director of Marketplace, managing a team and a $100 million P&L, and Category Manager for Sports and Outdoors. Jay's earlier experience at Sears Holdings Corporation from August 2008 to November 2011 included roles as Associate Buyer for DVD/Blu-Ray hardware and Inventory Analyst, managing inventory for numerous stores. Jay holds a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained in 2008.
