Dale Furphy

Dale Furphy is the Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Zorora Sofas, a South African furniture brand focused on innovation and quality. Previously, Dale held various roles in the finance sector, including Senior Institutional Fund Accountant and Team Leader at Maitland, where they excelled in financial oversight and team management. As a Co-Founder and Financial Director of Core Fit Centre Pty Ltd, Dale created systems for efficiency and staff motivation. Dale also co-founded Furphy Ventures Pty Ltd, where they conducted valuation and risk analysis for various business investments. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Cape Town and completed a Fintech Innovation Programme at the University of Oxford.
