Benjamin Light has a diverse work experience in the fields of health insurance, partnerships, and leadership. Benjamin has held various roles in different companies, demonstrating their adaptability and expertise. In their most recent position as VP of Partnerships at Zorro, they aided clients and brokers by providing innovative healthcare and financial solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Broker Partnerships and Director of Client Success at Take Command, where they played a key role in revolutionizing healthcare shopping by implementing the individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement (ICHRA). Benjamin also contributed to Lockton Companies as an Assistant Vice President, Team Lead, expanding the company into the Ohio market and developing communication tools for employee benefits. Additionally, they served as a Team Leader at Oswald Companies, leading a team that reinvented health insurance delivery and successfully onboarded numerous Amazon distribution partners. Before their career in insurance, Benjamin worked as the Chief Operating Officer at The Gathering Place, where they oversaw diverse aspects of the organization and implemented various SaaS tools. Benjamin also held positions at the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, Levin Consulting, and Andersen Consulting, demonstrating their strong foundation in community relations and consulting. Benjamin Light completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Washington University in St. Louis from 1990 to 1994. Benjamin then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Non-Profit Administration at John Carroll University from 2006 to 2008.
