Tom Walpole

Tom Walpole is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as an Associate Principal at ZS since February 2023, Walpole also contributes to the OHDSI Clinical Trials Working Group, focusing on enhancing the OMOP Common Data Model for clinical trial data integration. Prior to these roles, Walpole was the Chief Technology Officer at Trials.ai (January 2016 - February 2023), leading the development of an enterprise platform for clinical trial protocol design using predictive machine learning models. Additional experience includes a tenure as Lead Engineer at StockTwits and Chief Technology Officer at SparkFin, which was acquired by StockTwits. Walpole holds a B.S. in Psychology (pre-med) from Washington State University and an A.S. in Computer Information Science from Coleman College.
