Heather Bates is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. They began their career as a contributing writer for Big Cheese Magazine in 2004 and held positions including Development Editor at UpToDate, Inc. from 2005 to 2009, and Marketing Communications Manager at Varonis from 2010 to 2011. Heather worked as a Sr. Marketing Programs Operations Manager at Palo Alto Networks in 2013, transitioned to a Marketing Consultant role at DVL Consulting in 2012, and later served as Sr. Content Marketing Manager at Illumio until 2023. Currently, they are a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Zscaler and are pursuing a BA in English Literature at Boston University.
