Jay Patty

Jay Patty currently serves as CXO in Residence at Zscaler, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this, Jay was Senior Vice President of Cyber Engineering and Ops at Regions Bank from April 2022 to April 2024. Between December 2017 and April 2022, Jay held the role of Senior Cyber Security Manager at Southern Company, overseeing the integration of cyber security best practices across multiple power generation facilities and utilities. Jay's experience also includes serving as Principal Cyber Advisor for the Missile Defense Agency from May 2007 to December 2017, where responsibilities included integrating intelligence into cyber security operations. Earlier in Jay's career, as Senior IT Manager for the Space Missile Defense Command in the US Army from December 1995 to December 2007, management of teams focused on information systems security and risk assessment was a key responsibility. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Forensics and Digital Investigations from Champlain College.
