Mary Writz

Mary Writz currently serves as VP of Product Management at Zscaler, a position held since August 2025, following the acquisition of Red Canary, where Writz was SVP of Product. Additionally, Writz is the Founder of ProductX Consulting, a role started in June 2023. Prior to these positions, Writz was SVP of Product at Sift from August 2022 to June 2023 and held the title of VP Product Management at ForgeRock (now Ping Identity) from January 2018 to July 2022, during which ForgeRock underwent an IPO in September 2021. Previous experience includes various roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IBM, spanning from January 2003 to June 2018, with responsibilities in product management and security services. Writz holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems with a Math minor from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
