Michael (Mike) Ruiz is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in pre-sales and systems engineering. Michael served as a Pre-sales Engineer and later as a Consulting Sales Engineer at Zscaler, focusing on remote access technology and facilitating sales processes. Earlier roles included positions at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where Michael designed and managed Windows Server infrastructure and developed the first institutional Help Desk. Michael's experience also encompasses roles at Meru Networks, providing both pre-sales and post-sales support throughout the Northeast and globally. Michael holds a BA in Environmental Science and Elementary Education from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and completed a Management Program at Educause Institute, along with advanced studies at the University College of Oxford.
