Sachin Kumar

Sachin Kumar is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in cloud security and quality assurance across various technology companies. At Zscaler, from December 2011 to April 2025, Sachin held multiple vice president roles, including Head of Engineering for Core ZIA, leading initiatives in QA architecture and cloud deployment with a focus on security protocols. Prior to Zscaler, Sachin served as Director of Engineering QA at Enlighted Inc, managing testing for IoT solutions in smart buildings, and as a Senior Technical Leader at Cisco Systems, contributing to network security and protocol optimization. Early in Sachin's career, roles included Member Technical Staff at Infinera, where contributions were made to optical testing and platform development. Sachin holds a Master of Technology in Optoelectronics and Optical Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Science in Physics and Electronics from Delhi University.
