Simon Porter has extensive experience in sales within the technology sector, having held various roles in prominent companies. From February 2012 to February 2015, Simon worked at Oracle as an Engineered Systems Sales representative for the Retail and Financial Services sectors. Following this, Simon engaged with VMware as a Strategic Account Manager from February 2015 to May 2018, and then served as a Strategic Account Manager at Micro Focus until May 2019. Simon transitioned to ServiceNow as an Enterprise Account Manager from June 2019 to October 2022, before joining Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the same capacity until August 2024. Prior experience includes a series of sales positions at IBM from January 2009 to June 2010, where Simon was involved in various roles focusing on internet security systems, software sales, client management, and global technology services sales.
