Pete Johnson

Pete Johnson has over 18 years of work experience in various industries. Pete started their career in 2002 as an Associate at OCA Ventures, where they were part of the Private Equity lab program and assisted in due diligence, screening, deal sourcing and strategy. In 2003, they became the Director of Worldwide Marketing at Xpedion Design Systems, which was later acquired by Agilent. In 2006, they joined Sonoplot as a Director. In 2007, they became the EVP of Business Development & Marketing at Atalgo, where they oversaw product and strategy for novel video compression and delivery software for mobile applications. In 2008, they founded and became President of 5Elements, Inc. In 2009, they were Head of Product Marketing at Exar Corporation, where they ran product (hardware and software) for new product line of programmable power PowerXR. In 2010, they co-founded FestBuddy. In 2017, they co-founded Perceptual Labs. In 2020, they co-founded Pivotal Healthcare. Since 2012, they have been the VP, Strategic Business & Corporate Development at zSpace 3D, where they manage business and corporate development by building partnerships, growing the zSpace eco-system and mergers and acquisitions.

Pete Johnson holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from 2001 to 2003. Pete also holds a BSECE from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied Electrical & Computer Engineering from 1991 to 1995.
