ZTT is active in the development, design, production, supply and installation of wide application ranges in telecom, energy, renewable energy, marine system, precision equipment, EPC, etc.

ZTT embarked on optical fiber communications in 1992, accessed to the ”smart grid” in 2002, and commenced work on renewable energy products in 2011. In 2020, ZTT decided to spin off the Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Company which is to be floated on the Shanghai Stock Exchange as a new public company. ZTT has pictured a diversified industrial portfolio for marine equipment, renewable energy, new materials, smart grid, optical communications and other diversified industrial products. ZTT Group is now hosting 80 subsidiary companies and over 16,000 employees, as well as 54 offices and 12 marketing centers set up overseas, and 6 overseas plants operated in India, Brazil, Indonesia, Morocco, Turkey and Germany.
