Joel Stellner

Joel Stellner is a data visualization expert and the co-founder and principal of Zuar. Joel has over seven years of experience in the industry, and has worked with some of the most innovative companies in the world.

Joel's passion for data visualization began when they were working as an Area Sales Manager at Tableau Software. Joel oversaw over 300 customers throughout the Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Western Virginia, and helped them to maximize their adoption of the platform and become data driven organizations.

In 2017, Joel took on the role of Interim Data Visualization Lead at Magic Leap. Magic Leap is an incredible company with a mission and product that will change computing and define our technological lives for decades to come. Joel was responsible for leading the business insights team and helping Magic Leap with their epic mission.

Since 2018, Joel has been working as the co-founder and principal of Zuar, a data visualization consultancy. Joel and their team help companies to make sense of their data and communicate it effectively to their audiences.

Joel Stellner holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Joel is also certified by Tableau Software in both Tableau Desktop 9 Certified Professional and Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate.
