Marko Koen

Marko Koen is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in leading technical teams and developing innovative solutions within the e-commerce and delivery sectors. Currently serving at Zulzi since February 2023, Marko drives the technical development for the Checkers Sixty60 grocery delivery platform. Prior roles include Technical Lead at Mara during a critical restructuring phase, Engineering Team Lead at TFGLabs, where Marko managed the Last Mile Squad after TFG's acquisition of Quench, and Chief Technology Officer at Quench Delivery Group, responsible for building the development team and implementing microservice architecture. Marko's technical expertise encompasses GoLang, GCP, AWS, and various other technologies, with a solid foundation in software development gained from earlier positions at Estuary Solutions Ltd. Marko holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University.
