Michael Lai

Michael Lai is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic financial planning. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Finance at Zūm since 2022, Michael has successfully led financial consolidations and forecasting efforts that achieved significant revenue growth. Prior roles include Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Blaize, where Michael supported senior leadership with budgeting and strategic planning for a SaaS business, and Senior Finance Manager at SBM Management Services, where responsibilities included financial management and collaboration with executive leadership. Additional experience includes operations and finance management at WinPark and Ace Parking, and a solid foundation in accounts payable and operational analysis from Tony's Fine Foods. Michael holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics and Communication from the University of California, Davis.
