Alex Alten

Alex Alten has over ten years of experience in the field of security engineering. Currently, they work as a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer at Zuora, where they are a senior staff member of the security team. Alex'sresponsibilities include ensuring the security of AWS and Azure public clouds, as well as implementing Kubernetes and Docker container security. Prior to Zuora, they worked at Salesforce as a Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer, where they focused on DevSecOps and security operations. Alex Alten has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 1977 to 1981. Alex then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science Engineering from San Jose State University from 1983 to 1985.
