David Fitzgerald

David FitzGerald has extensive work experience in the technology and consulting industry. David started their career in 1989 as a Technical Advisor at Sun Microsystems, where they provided technical expertise and advice to clients in the finance, banking, and telecom sectors. David then joined Portal Software as a Senior Principal Consultant, where they worked as a Solution Architect, Lead Technical Developer, and Project Manager, delivering billing and revenue management solutions for communication service providers.

In 2006, David co-founded Alcenit Corporation, a consulting firm that helps organizations achieve their business objectives through effective use of IT and change management. At Alcenit, they built strong client relationships and delivered efficient processes based on industry-proven standards. David also established a strategic partnership with the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University.

Following their time at Alcenit, David worked as an Oracle Infranet/BRM Consultant at Centillian LLC, delivering custom installations and customizations for multiple clients. David specialized in database performance tuning, system integration, and data migration.

In 2012, David joined Zuora, where they held various roles including Principal Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, and Enterprise Architect Director. In these roles, they successfully led numerous engagements, worked directly with customers at all levels, and independently led projects with complex functional and technical requirements.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in areas such as architecture design, order to cash processes, customer engagement, proposal development, and project management. David is seen as a thought leader and subject matter expert, capable of addressing complex customer questions and anticipating issues before they occur.

David FitzGerald attended Southern Methodist University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
